Fresh Bikes Gravity Racing Team
Fresh Bikes Gravity (FBG) is an extension of Fresh Bikes that focuses on enhancing our community while helping grow the sport of mountain biking.
We see a great opportunity to support our local riders and empower them throughout their growth as both riders and individuals. A key component of FBG is mentoring our local riders. We hope to start early with promising talent in order to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
Ultimately, we want to grow the sport of mountain biking while also engaging in a sport we love. We support all forms of mountain biking: enduro, downhill racing, dirt jumping, free ride and cross country.
All of our riders dedicate time to give back to the community and we are focused on supporting the communities that have shaped and supported us.
Check out our riders below - you’ll be hearing their names very soon!
Meet The Team
Alberto Caraballo
a.k.a. bert
@bikerbert130
Bert started riding BMX when he was 8 years old, but, after stumbling across a Sam Hill race run online, picked up mountain biking at the age of 24. After that, Bert was immediately hooked on Downhill MTB and became a regular at Big Creek Park - attributing the Freeride area on sharpening his bike skills to progressing where he is now. Bert’s favorite place to ride at the moment is Windrock Bike Park in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for always challenging him.
When Bert’s not riding, he’s working around the house on renovation projects or relaxing on the golf course. Bert also enjoys training his dog, Murphy, who can often be found ripping it up on the trail with him. In the future, Bert looks forward to getting involved in trail building and helping kids progress in MTB racing.
Charlie Golwyn
@charlieprofilebmx
Charlie started BMX racing when he was 4 years old, but it wasn’t long until he was riding at the BMX park and hitting the dirt jumps. He still loves all the different bikes and, most recently, picked up MTB. He loves downhill racing and hitting huge jumps!
His favorite spots are Windrock, Kanuga, Jarrod’s Place and, of course, Big Creek in Roswell.
Erin GOLWYN
@_erin_it_out
Erin has been riding bikes (without training wheels) since she was 2. She raced a little BMX, rode some park and pump tracks, but when she tried MTB - she was hooked! Erin is a local at Big Creek in Roswell and Jarrod’s Place Jasper - often riding her favorite bike, her Santa Cruz Bronson.
When she isn’t riding, Erin loves art, baking and representing Fresh Bikes!
Colin woolard
@colin_woolard11
Colin has always had a passion for anything with wheels. From the moment he learned to ride a bike, he rode it like he stole it. He started riding for FOCO/Denmark in the summer of 2020 and quickly discovered his love for the sport of XC MTB. Colin really enjoys endurance races and participates in the Chainbusters Series and GCA.
In his spare time he likes to work on the fort in the woods and take pictures of his awesome adventures.
Zach Berube
@zsberube
Ever since Zach gave his Skuut bike the first push, he fell in love with the sport of biking. It went from him chasing both his parents at the Sope Creek trails during his elementary school years to then signing up for his first NICA race at the start of middle school. Since the age of 14, Zach has been racing local as well as National level USAC and UCI races.
He is the current 2022 Cat 1 - U18 Georgia State Champion for cross country. Zach’s primary focus is cross country racing, but he also enjoys racing enduro, road, and gravel.
